We would like to announce
the launch of the IIT Entrepreneur Circle at the IIT 2007 event this
year.
The IIT Entrepreneur Circle aims to bring together entrepreneurs from
all the IITs to help the entire eco-system companies founded by IIT
alumni rise to next level through cooperation among the founders.
This group will be a channel for access to a number of angels, VCs, and
large company contacts that the founding team and ongoing membership
will bring to the table, as well as a sounding board for all
entrepreneurs from others that are more experienced in building
companies from the ground up.
There are three key events
happening at the conference to launch the IITeC
Angel Panel July
6th 1:45pm - 2:45pm
A panel of distinguished angel investors will evaluate 5-min (5-min
Q&A) pitches from entrepreneurs that are just starting out and are
looking for angel funding. This is a rare opportunity to get in front
of some of the most successful angels in Silicon Valley, including:
Grill the VC Session -
featuring Mayfield
Fund July 6th 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Mayfield Fund,
one of the top-tier VCs in the Valley has graciously accepted to have
some of their partners spend an hour with IIT entrepreneurs to answer
any and all questions on starting, building, growing and managing
companies at all stages. This is an OPEN event - no signups are
required to show up.
It is not often that you get to
grill the partners at a top tier venture firm like Mayfield, including:
Inaugural Dinner Table
(tentative) (July 7th 7:00pm )
A dinner will be held on Saturday night for all entrepreneurs that wish
to attend, with a number of prominent VCs and angels attending. To RSVP
for this event, please send an email to sponsorship@iit2007.org with
the subject line containing [founders-dinner]. This is also be the
kickoff to the IITeC program.

The following process is requested of interested entrepreneurs and
companies interested in any of the above:

- Fill-in and submit a one
page summary of your company and business.
- Wednesday, July 04:
Submissions must be received by close of business.
- Friday, July 6: IITeC will
coordinate with the VC's and arrange for your meeting.

| We will accommodate all or
arrange for offsite meetings. ALL information submitted will be treated
confidentially.
Please take advantage of this unique IIT initiative for emerging
companies where IIT entrepreneurs get to meet the VC's in a warm PanIIT
setting.
